In the near future, Berlin will be served by only one, major airport (it exist in the map of berlin showing airports): Berlin Brandenburg Airport BER. The new airport is being constructed in close vicinity to Schönefeld Airport in the southeast of Berlin and just outside the city limits. On opening, the brand new berlin airport will have a capacity of approximately 27 million passengers per year.
